冷凝泵用于火力发电厂输送冷凝水及其它类似于冷凝水的其它液体。本泵有较好的吸入性能。个别型泵可输送120℃以内的液体，其它泵输送液体温度不能超过80℃。个别型泵分别在填料函体和填料压盖处通人冷却水后可做疏水泵用。
