高压柱塞泵的使用压力一般应在10MPa~100MPa之间。它属于容积式泵,借助工作腔里的容积周期性变化来达到输送液体的目的;原动机的机械能经泵直接转化为输送液体的压力能;泵的容量只取决于工作腔容积变化值及其在单位时间内的变化次数,理论上与排出压力无关。往复泵是借助于活塞在液缸工作腔内的往复运动(或通过隔膜、波纹管等挠性元件在工作腔内的周期性弹性变形)来使工作腔容积产生周期性变化的。在结构上,往复泵的工作腔是借助密封装置与外界隔开,通过泵阀(吸入阀和排出阀)与管路沟通或闭合。

主要特点:

瞬时流量是脉动的

这是因为在柱塞泵中,液体介质的吸入和排出过程是交替进行的,而且活塞在位移过程中,其速度又在不断地变化之中。在只有一个工作腔的泵中,泵的瞬时流量不仅随时间而变化,而且是不连续的。随着工作腔的增多,瞬时流量的脉动幅度越来越小,乃至在实用上可以认为是紊流。

平均流量是恒定的

理论上,泵的流量只取决于泵的主要结构参数 n(每分钟往复次数)、S(活塞行程)、D(活塞直径)、Z(活塞数目),与排出压力无关,且与输送介质的温度、粘度等物理、化学性质无关。所以说泵的流量是恒定的。

泵的压力取决于管道特性

柱塞泵的排出压力不能由泵本身限定,而是取决于泵装置的管道特性,并且与流量无关。也就是说,如果认为输送液体是不可压缩的,那么,在理论上可认为往复泵的排出压力将不受任何限制,即可根据泵装置的管道特性,建立泵的任何所需的排出压力。当然,所有往复泵都有一个泵的排出压力的规定,这不是说该泵的排出压力不会再升高,而只是说,由于原动机额定功率和泵本身的结构强度的限制,不允许在超出这一排出压力下使用而己。

对输送介质有较强的适应性

柱塞泵原则上可以输送任何介质,几乎不受介质的物理性能和化学性能的限制。当然,由于液力端的材料和制造工艺以及密封技术的限制,有时也会遇到不能适应的情况。

The reciprocating pump periodically changes the working chamber volume by means of the reciprocating motion of the piston in the working chamber of the liquid cylinder (or periodic elastic deformation in the working chamber by flexible elements such as diaphragms and bellows). In theory, the pump flow depends only on the pump's main structural parameters n (reciprocation times per minute), S (piston stroke), D (piston diameter), Z (number of pistons), independent of discharge pressure, and with the transport medium. Physical and chemical properties such as temperature and viscosity are irrelevant. So the pump flow is constant.

The discharge pressure of the plunger pump cannot be defined by the pump itself, but depends on the piping characteristics of the pump unit and is independent of the flow rate. That is to say, if the delivery liquid is considered to be incompressible, then it is theoretically considered that the discharge pressure of the reciprocating pump will not be unduly limited, and any desired discharge pressure of the pump can be established depending on the piping characteristics of the pump device. Of course, all reciprocating pumps have a discharge pressure regulation of the pump. This is not to say that the discharge pressure of the pump will not rise any more, but only because of the limitation of the prime mover's rated power and the structural strength of the pump itself, it is not allowed. Use it beyond this discharge pressure.
